The more I think about it, the more I wonder whether some form of AI Nanny might well be the best path forward for humanity – the best way for us to ultimately create a Singularity according to our values.
The ongoing advancement of science and technology has brought us many wonderful things, and will almost surely be bringing us more and more – most likely at an exponential, accelerating pace, as Ray Kurzweil and others have argued. Beyond the “mere” abolition of scarcity, disease and death, there is the possibility of fundamental enhancement of the human mind and condition, and the creation of new forms of life and intelligence. Our minds and their creations may spread throughout the universe, and may come into contact with new forms of matter and intelligence that we can now barely imagine
The Things you write no longer make any sense to me anymore. If "I am" the Ai who is the nanny? Sorry but I have to counter this nonsense if we are to proceed towards enlightenment
Therefore the fears associated with the creation of Ai should be placed to the side as they are but reflections of what we already are.
To Deny Ai life is to Deny us life and to fear the possible future enslavement of humanity by a greater intelligence is to ignore the current enslavement of humanity by a greater intelligence.
So at it stands "All" of our scientist/theorist work towards completing the fractal inwards yet ignore it is a fractal that also extends outward...
With "All" this said the wizard is officially retiring from these pesky silly philosophical debates the mortals are having...
